Rock the Runway 2026 was more than a community event. It was a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together with generosity, creativity, and a shared commitment to children and families.
This year, Rock the Runway raised an incredible $67,000 for Hearts for Autism in support of Camp New Amigos this summer. The funds will help create a meaningful and memorable camp experience for children while continuing the mission that has guided Hearts for Autism for more than a decade.
Camp New Amigos is Hearts for Autism’s flagship program for children with autism spectrum disorders. The camp was created to give children the opportunity to enjoy a camp experience, build friendships, have fun, and participate in activities with the structure and support they need. Past camp activities have included arts and crafts, rock wall climbing, sensory activities, swimming, and more.
A Community Effort With a Lasting Impact
Rock the Runway 2026 was organized by Jeffrey Silva, Abel Covarrubias, and a dedicated committee who worked together to bring the event to life. Their leadership helped unite models, salons, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and community members around a cause that continues to make a difference for local families.
Every person who participated played a role in the success of the event. From those who helped behind the scenes to those who walked the runway, donated, sponsored, styled, volunteered, or attended, each contribution helped make this year’s fundraiser a tremendous success.
Celebrating Those Who Made It Possible
On Thursday, April 30, Zane Silva presented the funds to the Hearts for Autism Board and Camp Directors during an appreciation lunch honoring the individuals and groups who helped make Rock the Runway possible.
The gathering was a meaningful opportunity to recognize the generosity, time, and talent poured into the event. It also served as a reminder that Camp New Amigos continues to be possible because of community support.
Supporting a Memorable Summer for Campers
The $67,000 raised through Rock the Runway 2026 will directly support Camp New Amigos and help provide campers with a summer experience filled with connection, encouragement, and joy.
